I struggled very hard with my self-image growing up because I couldn’t see myself anywhere. Not in makeup, fashion or in the movies I adored.
No one told me my black traits were part of my beauty. Essential to it. So I’m here to tell you, black girl. You are BEAUTIFUL and WORTHY. You are not invisible.
The curly hair, the wide nose, the big lips are all part of what makes you beautiful.
And if you can’t see it by yourself it’s okay because I’m here to bring you the right information so you can find your beauty and own it on your terms.
